Ryan Reynolds stated during a panel at Fanatics Fest that there will “eventually” be another “Deadpool” movie, potentially focusing on “deep cuts” from the character’s comics. Reynolds mentioned that some material from Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza and writer Gerry Duggan could be included, as well as upcoming content. He previously told “Sunday Today” in April that he has started writing Deadpool’s return but does not plan to center the character again, instead seeing him as a supporting figure. Reynolds has also downplayed rumors of Deadpool appearing in the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” film. In a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he expressed interest in Deadpool crossing paths with the Avengers or X-Men but emphasized the character should remain an outsider.
