‘Saiyaara’ Stars Launch Collector’s Vinyl LP at Wembley for Film’s Anniversary
Bollywood stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda visited London's Wembley Stadium to celebrate the first anniversary of the film "Saiyaara," unveiling a collector's edition vinyl LP of the Yash Raj Films blockbuster. The film, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, grossed over INR580 crore ($69 million) worldwide and is credited as the highest-grossing love story in Indian cinema history. The choice of Wembley as the launch venue carries direct resonance with the film, as a pivotal scene features Panday's character spotting Padda's character on the stadium's giant screen, and the film's finale concert sequence also unfolds at the same venue. The release is a two-disc set: LP-1 compiles all nine tracks from the soundtrack, while LP-2 expands with 25 recordings including 16 original background score compositions and nine dialogue sequences. The collector's package also includes a "Saiyaara" diary containing notes from the director, producer, stars, and music contributors, along with an ink pen reminiscent of a character's notebook and two character bookmarks. The vinyl LP will be available to buyers worldwide.
