Harington and Dinklage Reunite for First Time Since Game of Thrones Ended
Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage reunited for the first time in seven years, since the 2019 conclusion of “Game of Thrones,” according to a Variety interview published June 5, 2026. Harington, now 39 and a series regular on HBO’s “Industry,” and Dinklage, 56, who recently guest starred in FX’s “The Lowdown,” discussed their experiences on the show, sobriety, and life after Westeros. Harington revealed he entered rehab for six weeks as the first episode of the final season aired, saying he needed to get sober and get his head on straight. Dinklage noted that after the show ended, he tried to engineer projects to get out of the “Tyrion box” and has since only done work he wanted to do. Both actors reflected on parenting, with Harington saying he now has two kids and Dinklage noting his 8-year-old son recently watched “Game of Thrones.” Harington also mentioned he is currently doing a lot of nudity and sex scenes on-screen, joking he should stop for his children’s sake.
