Ariana Grande kicked off her “Eternal Sunshine” tour Saturday night at the Oakland Arena, marking her first tour in six and a half years. The 23-song setlist drew heavily from her 2024 album “Eternal Sunshine,” which contributed 11 selections, while her 2021 album “Positions” added three songs. Other albums represented include “Thank U, Next,” “Dangerous Woman,” and “My Everything,” each with two songs, and one each from “Yours Truly” and the forthcoming “Petal” album. The show featured video segments inspired by the film “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” and Grande was lifted into a UFO-type light structure during the finale. The tour includes 11 cities in North America before a 10-night stand at London’s O2 Arena, with resale ticket prices starting in the 500s for obstructed views and exceeding $1,000 for floor seats.
