Animated ‘Among Us’ Series Surprise Drops on Paramount+

6 reported

The animated television adaptation of the popular video game “Among Us” has been released unexpectedly on Paramount+, with all 10 episodes now available to stream. Series stars Yvette Nicole Brown and Liv Hewson made the surprise announcement Friday afternoon at the Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles. The announcement came as a surprise because there had been practically no updates on the project since 2024, when production on the video game adaptation wrapped. Fans at the event and watching the livestream were shown a trailer for the show, which follows cute, monochromatic crewmates aboard an intergalactic ship as they try to root out a “suspicious” impostor. The series is based on the internet game that became a global phenomenon during the pandemic, reaching nearly 500 million monthly active users at its peak toward the end of 2020.
