White House releases Trump physical results citing ‘excellent health’
President Trump’s physician released a letter late Friday stating the president is in “excellent health” following a physical at Walter Reed National Military Hospital. The letter from Capt. Sean Barbabella said Trump demonstrated strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. It noted the president weighs 238 pounds with a blood pressure of 105 over 71, and is taking aspirin and cholesterol control drugs. Barbabella said Trump is “fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief.” The doctor also reported scarring on the right ear consistent with a prior gunshot injury from 2024, and slight lower leg swelling with improvement from last year. Trump scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
