Škoda Peaq EV Expected to Be Brand’s Most Expensive Model

According to a report from Wired, Škoda is preparing a new large electric SUV called the Peaq, which is expected to become the most expensive vehicle the Czech automaker has ever produced. The Peaq will be built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform and is expected to be 16 feet, 5 inches long, with a seven-seat configuration available. Sketches released this week and photos of camouflaged prototypes suggest the final design will closely resemble the Vision 7S concept unveiled in 2022, though it will lack the concept's rear doors that open in the opposite direction and the futuristic interior with a seat on the center tunnel. The automaker has not yet disclosed performance, features, or pricing details, but the report notes that the Peaq will likely use technology similar to the Elroq and Enyaq models, with a potentially larger battery similar to the ID.Buzz and ID.7. The Peaq is expected to be officially presented soon. This information comes from a single source, Wired, which originally published the article in Czech via its Czech Republic & Slovakia edition.
