Olivia Rodrigo’s newly announced Daisy Chain Fields Festival will donate 100% of its net proceeds to charity, and every artist on the lineup is performing for free, according to an interview Rodrigo gave to Diane Sawyer on “Good Morning America.” The festival is scheduled for Aug. 29 in Irvine, California, and features an all-women lineup including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Katseye, Mitski, the Breeders, Die Spitz, Bikini Kill, Eli, Garbage, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Not for Radio, and Rodrigo herself. Rodrigo said she was inspired by Lilith Fair, the all-women charity festival from the 1990s, and that she called Sarah McLachlan first when deciding to create the festival. Special guests set to appear include McLachlan, Stevie Nicks, and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Rodrigo hinted at a possible duet with Nicks on “Landslide” when Sawyer suggested it. The festival is partnering with 10 organizations, including Baby2Baby, Center for Reproductive Rights, and Planned Parenthood.
