Nolan Says Next Film At Least Three Years Away After ‘The Odyssey’
Christopher Nolan told "Today" that it will be "at least" three years before he makes another movie following the production of "The Odyssey." Nolan stated that he "definitely hit the limits of my own stamina and everybody's stamina" during the film's production, adding that a film of "The Odyssey" should be difficult. The movie was shot entirely with Imax cameras, a goal Nolan said he discussed with the Imax team beforehand. Nolan also told the New York Times that studios need to stop playing it safe with blockbusters because audiences are "looking for something new." "The Odyssey," based on Homer's epic, stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside an all-star cast including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron.
