Jeremy Clarkson says he is in remission from prostate cancer
Jeremy Clarkson has stated he is officially in remission from prostate cancer, less than a week after revealing he had an aggressive form of the disease in the final episodes of Clarkson’s Farm’s fifth season, which were filmed in 2025. The former Top Gear presenter, 66, told the Sunday Times he had a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test two months ago that showed no indication of cancer. He posted two videos to Instagram over the weekend saying season six of Clarkson’s Farm is in production and that he is “perfectly fine” because doctors caught the cancer early. Clarkson urged others to get tested, describing the procedure as “just a blood test these days.” He told the Times he will continue to have regular blood tests and is aware the cancer could return, adding he has decided to be “one of the 60% who doesn’t have a recurrence.” In the final two episodes of season five, Clarkson said he had undergone an operation to remove 10% of his prostate, eight months after heart surgery for blocked coronary arteries. Charity Prostate Cancer UK said Clarkson’s diagnosis and treatment would raise “vital awareness.”
