Flock Safety CEO to discuss AI surveillance at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will feature a session with Flock Safety founder and CEO Garrett Langley on AI, surveillance, and the future of public safety. The event takes place October 13-15 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Flock Safety, based in Atlanta, was founded in 2017 and has raised $950 million in total funding, with a recent $275 million round placing its valuation at $7.5 billion. The company sells surveillance technology including license plate recognition, general surveillance cameras, and drone first responders following its acquisition of Aerodome. Flock has faced pushback from privacy advocates like the ACLU and some members of the public, including destruction of its cameras. Recent setbacks include Amazon’s Ring ending a partnership and the LAPD letting its deal with Flock lapse this month.
