BBC Sport App Launches Shorts Feature for Short-Form Video

The BBC Sport app has introduced a new feature called Shorts, designed for short-form video content. Shorts offers full-screen, vertical videos that are easy to scroll through, similar to familiar social media formats. The content includes highlights, breaking news, explainers, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and features from major sporting events. Users can set Shorts as their default home screen when opening the app by going into Settings. The feature is not yet personalized and currently shows the same curated selection to all users, chosen by the BBC Sport team.
