Brooke Shields to Host Season 8 of First Responders Series ‘Hearts of Heroes’
Brooke Shields has been named the new host of "Hearts of Heroes," a weekend educational/informational series from Hearst Media Production Group. The show returns for its eighth season on Saturday, July 11, on the "Weekend Adventure" kids block on ABC stations. Shields replaces previous host Ginger Zee of "Good Morning America." The series follows first responders and their stories of heroic rescues from across the country. Returning contributor Sheldon Yellen, CEO of Belfor Property Restoration, will join Shields. The show has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy and has earned a Parents’ Choice Award and several international Telly Awards. Over seven seasons, it has chronicled more than 750 first responders and rescuers and featured more than 220 stories involving extreme conditions.
