According to a report from Variety, Charades and Diaphana Distribution have boarded "The Little Run," the upcoming animated feature from directors Julien Bisaro and Claire Paoletti. The film is the follow-up to their previous work "Shooom's Odyssey" and is entering pre-production. Charades, known for handling international distribution for films like Gints Zilbalodis' Oscar winner "Flow," will manage worldwide sales. Diaphana Distribution, whose slate includes Lukas Dhont's "Coward" and Netflix's "In Waves," will release the film in French cinemas. The project has secured pre-sales with Canal+, Ciné+, France 3 Cinéma in France, and ZDF in Germany. The film targets family audiences from age 5 and up and is set up at the directors' boutique studio Picolo Pictures, with a Luxembourg co-production with Doghouse Films in development.
