Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 2 Premieres Sept. 18 on Starz

Starz has set a Sept. 18 premiere date for “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” Season 2 and released the first teaser for the new season. The romantic epic prequel series first introduced viewers to the parents of Claire and Jamie Fraser and their love stories across different time periods. According to the official season description, Season 2 picks up after Henry and Julia Beauchamp reunite at Craigh na Dun in Season One, only for Julia to be shown alone with their baby in the teaser. Henry must now grapple with his mental health as he tries to find his way back to her. Meanwhile, Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie’s romantic escape is cut short by the start of the 1715 Jacobite Rising, forcing them to prioritize clan loyalties over each other. The season continues with Brian fulfilling his obligation to fight and Ellen seeking to make things right with her family. Key cast members returning include Jeremy Irvine, Hermione Corfield, Jamie Roy, Harriet Slater, and others. Matthew B. Roberts serves as showrunner for both “Outlander” and the prequel series, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
