How No Spin Network Started
It started with an experiment: we opened five news sites about the same event.
We got five different stories. One called it a crisis. One called it a triumph. One buried it. One ran an opinion piece dressed up as analysis. One spent the entire article quoting a guy on TV reacting to the event instead of, you know, covering the event.
Finding out what actually happened required reading all of them, ignoring 90% of the words, and basically doing the journalists’ jobs for them. That’s not news. That’s a group project where you’re the only one working.
So We Built Something Different
The idea was almost insultingly simple: tell people what happened. Then stop.
Every story here follows the same structure — what happened, what’s confirmed, what’s disputed, what’s unknown, and what people are getting wrong about it. No drama. No adjectives doing the heavy lifting. No anonymous “sources close to the situation” who somehow always agree with the writer.
We don’t chase breaking news either. We wait until the facts stop moving. Yes, that makes us slower than everyone else. The internet has enough people racing to be first and wrong.
Who We Are
A small operation. On purpose. No shareholders, no advertisers, no agenda. Just people who got tired of every news site treating them like a target audience instead of a reader.
Our Promise
We will never tell you what to think. We will tell you what happened.
That’s the whole pitch.
Facts. Verified. No spin.
