AI startup Lyzr uses its own agent to raise $100 million
Lyzr, a three-year-old Jersey City, New Jersey startup that helps enterprises build AI agents, used its own AI agent to raise its Series B funding round. The system, named SivaClaw, fielded questions from more than 130 investors, drafted investment memos, and tracked which slides investors focused on. The startup raised $100 million at a roughly $500 million valuation. Lyzr told Bloomberg that it pulled in $400 million in interest from investors in Silicon Valley, the Middle East, and the financial sector without a founder needing to travel for traditional fundraising meetings. The company used the process to demonstrate that its product works.
