The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival's industry program, KVIFF Promises, has announced the winners of the Eurimages Co-production Development Award and other prizes. The Eurimages Co-production Development Award, carrying a cash prize of 20,000 Euros ($22,800), was awarded to "Selamlik," a film from Sweden and Denmark directed by Jerry Carlsson, written by Khaled Alesmael, and produced by Frida Mårtensson. The jury described the project as a story that resonates strongly in today's geopolitical context. An additional 20,000 Euros cash prize was given to "Reminiscence" from Ukraine, directed and written by Anastasia Tykha and produced by Darya Bassel, which also received the Connecting Cottbus Award. The Midpoint and KVIFF Development Award, with a 10,000 Euros cash prize, went to "They Bloom at Dawn" from North Macedonia, directed and written by Angela Dimeska and produced by Ognen Antov. The Rotterdam Lab Award was won by Monika Matuszewska, producer of "Confirmation" from Poland, and the Marché du Film Producers Network Award went to Tomáš Hrubý and Eva Váchová.

The Midpoint and KVIFF Development Award (10,000 Euros) went to "They Bloom at Dawn" (North Macedonia), directed and written by Angela Dimeska, produced by Ognen Antov.
The jury said of "They Bloom at Dawn": "a project about human and family relationships in the context of an environmental crisis."
The Rotterdam Lab Award went to Monika Matuszewska, producer of "Confirmation" (Poland).
The Marché du Film Producers Network Award went to Tomáš Hrubý, producer of "Cowgirl" (Czech Republic), and Eva Váchová, producer of "A Few Branches Off" (Czech Republic).
