The 37th Golden Melody Awards were held on Saturday night at Taipei Arena, with Jolin Tsai and Chang Chen-yue among the top winners. Jolin Tsai’s album “Pleasure,” released through Warner Music Taiwan, won Album of the Year and also earned her Best Mandarin Female Singer. Chang Chen-yue’s album “Walk with Feelings,” via Rock Records, won Best Mandarin Album, Best Mandarin Male Singer, and Best Composer. Song of the Year went to “Singing with Happiness” (Happy Version) from the film “The Sunshine Girls Choir,” performed by A-Lin. The awards recognized winners across Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka, and Indigenous-language categories, as well as instrumental, technical, and special awards. The Special Contribution Award was presented to Lin Huang-kun and the late Tu Ying.
